As we all know that there are people who will starve to death today because they do not have anything to eat. We don’t really know how blessed we are when we are able to provide ourselves food to eat. As Christians we are to feed the poor and help those who are in need. Feeding the poor and the needy are part of serving one another and as we serve others, we are serving Christ.
Why not use our wealth to help someone that really needs it. Allow God to use you to provide for someone in need. Let us be more caring and compassionate towards one another, especially to those who are poor and needy. May God remove any hinderance/stinginess that’s lurking in our hearts.
Prophet Isaiah says, “Feed the hungry and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon. The LORD will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring.” Isaiah 58: 10 (NLT)
All the proceeds go into charitable projects/program, feeding the poor by giving out lunch bags to the hungry.
Our food pantry is stocked with non-perishable food items and our soup kitchen serves anyone who comes into the soup kitchen and is hungry.
The satisfaction of knowing that someone who is hungry will have something to eat is what makes it well the times put in for our program. In addition to feeding the hungry in our community. We also provide community health and wellness fair/education as well.
Your donation of $20, $50, $100 or more will go a long way in assisting us to do what we do. We are a nonprofit, charity corporation, and all donated funds are tax deductible. Help us fight hunger and help those who cannot help themselves, the vulnerable in our community.
